Resident boards

Resident boards/contact committees operate in some of our areas. They are responsible for looking after the interests of the tenants, act as a contact between the tenants and SGS and manage some of the common spaces. They also arrange activities for tenants. In most of our residential areas, tenants pay a small fee every month to the resident board. The size of this fee differs between areas and has been decided by the tenants. The names of the members of your local resident board/contact committee are posted on notice boards in the area. You may turn to the board/committee if you have questions. For more information see "Contact  committee"

Comfort

As a housing company we are mostly spared neighbours which are seriously disturbing other tenants. Most complaints at SGS concern loud music. First of all you should always try to talk to your neighbour if you are being disturbed. If this does not help you can contact the area offices. If the disturbances are serious one possibility is to get help through our security company called Securitas. One turnout costs over SEK 1000. Therefore you should only use this service when you really need it.
If you are disturbing your neighbours with loud music and partying, and we are noticed about it, you will get a warning letter from us. You also run the risk of paying the cost of the turnout to the security company. If you do not take action after the warning letters you run the risk of receiving notice to move out.
The conclusion is that you, as good neighbours, should show consideration towards each other to feel comfortable in your home. It is also our goal to do all we can to make you feel comfortable.
